Hatha Yoga

For adults of all ages and bodies

These classes provide an opportunity to deepen understanding and experience in the integration of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Enhance awareness, relaxation, vitality, posture, flexibility, balance, confidence, and enjoyment.

Release chronically restricted areas of the body while learning gentle postures, breath work and meditation. Working with the body/mind in this way provides the opportunity to participate actively with one's own health and well-being.

AWAKENING TRUE NATURE WORKSHOP

Yoga for Meditators * Meditation for Yogis

A contemplative and creative workshop for adults of all ages and bodies. Experience Yoga and Meditation as a creative and healing art.

Regardless of one's age or condition of health, it is possible to realize an intrinsic aliveness and wholeness. Working with fundamental principles of awareness, being grounded, centered, balanced and relaxed, it is a joyful experience to inhabit the body/mind as it is and realize its ever present radiance. In this way, each person uniquely awakens true nature and comes home to abide in one's own innate authenticity.

This workshop will provide an opportunity to deepen understanding and experience in the integration of physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual well being. Enhance awareness, relaxation, vitality, posture, flexibility, balance, strength, confidence, and enjoyment.

Release chronically restricted areas of the body/mind while practicing gentle postures, pranayama (breath work), mudra (hand gestures), mantra (sound work) and guided meditations. Working with the body/mind in this way provides the opportunity to participate actively with one's own healing.


Prenatal Yoga

The classes provide an opportunity to develop greater vitality and awareness of your body that is home for two, as well as to deepen your relationship with your baby.

Gentle postures, breath work, vocal toning and meditation are learned to cultivate flexibility, calm and confidence in preparation for labour and childbirth. Enhance relaxation, comfort, and enjoyment. Calm and flexibility ease the birthing process, thus reducing pain and increasing the joy of giving birth. Prepare for an active and natural birth.

Couples Workshop for Birth Preparation

This workshop provides an opportunity for couples together to enhance awareness of and confidence in pregnancy, labour and birth.

Through discussion, gentle postures, breath work, vocal toning, meditation and massage, couples will cultivate greater relaxation, understanding and enjoyment for childbearing. Calm and flexibility ease the birthing process, reducing pain and increasing the joy of giving birth.

Couples will practice postures together that are both beneficial and enjoyable for the rest of pregnancy and during labour. Partners feel more connected to the unborn baby.

The presence and encouragement of a woman's partner is a powerful aid to labour and delivery. Partners wil be supported to understand how to support the birthing mom with confidence and sensitivity.

Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

A comprehensive training that addresses the physiological, emotional and energetic aspects of pregnancy and childbirth.

Expect to complete the training and have the knowledge, understanding and techniques to support pregnant women to birth as naturally and actively and normally as possible. Feel confident to assess specific therapeutic needs and address them with yoga.
